Public test version · Learn with a grown-up

What this preview stores and uses.

This is a factual development summary, awaiting review for the eventual release. It is not a completed launch privacy notice.

The learning application stores subject starting places, sound/display preferences, group-session numbers and participation records in this browser's local storage when available. Records include the activity/story identifier, content pathway, context, completion time and activity hint/retry information. It retains up to 300 valid records per context. It has no child accounts, names, rosters, advertising, uploaded voice recordings or cloud progress sync.

Family and Classroom are separate views of local records on the same browser. They are not private accounts; someone with access to that browser can view both. Export creates a file on your device. You decide where to keep or share it. Clearing the active context's record removes that context's history; browser-data clearing can remove all local application storage.

The public test website and app are hosted by Cloudflare without owner authentication. Cloudflare processes hosting requests. The separate internal preview uses Cloudflare Access for owner authentication. The browser application does not send participation records to a backend. Teddy's Picnic plays saved Chulu audio files from the same protected website; playing them does not call the voice-generation service. Other optional browser narration uses the device/browser's speech capability; its availability and processing depend on the platform.

Internal lesson and narration review tools are kept on the private preview domain. They are not part of this public test website.

Sounding Line Media operates this project. Contact scott@soundingline.media for support or a privacy question. Email is handled outside the learning app; include only the adult contact information needed for a reply and omit child identifiers. Hosting logs, authentication retention, support retention and family/classroom participation arrangements still require release review. No application analytics or third-party asset requests are included in the current test version.
