How It Works
Welcome. Try. Take it into play.
An adult reads the welcome and prepares the activity. The child can respond by pointing, speaking, gesturing or directing an adult's tap. Hints, retries and pauses are available without a timer or competitive score. A finished experience offers a natural stopping point and an invitation to play away from the device.
Choose independently
Reading and Math choices can differ and are retained separately for Family and Classroom. Historical records keep the pathway used at completion.
Stop whenever useful
Pause keeps the current activity open for resuming. Close leaves unfinished work without a completion record. Sound can be disabled; displayed prompts remain available.
Keep or clear the record
Grown-Up Corner exports the active context's participation record or clears that context after confirmation. Clearing history does not clear the other context. Browser storage may be unavailable; a visible message explains when records are temporary.
Add the learning app
Open the learning app in your device’s browser and prepare a session with a grown-up. In Grown-Up Corner, choose Add learning app if your browser offers that button. Otherwise use the browser menu below. Installed windows open in Grown-Up Corner so you can choose Family or Classroom and prepare a session. You can always keep learning in the browser.
iPad or iPhone
Open the learning app in Safari. Use Share, then Add to Home Screen; choose Open as Web App if that option appears, then Add. Menu wording varies by device version. Open the new Lamb & Lark icon and choose Family or Classroom in Grown-Up Corner.
Android
Open the learning app in Chrome. Use the browser menu’s Install and create shortcut or Add to Home screen option, then follow its instructions. Some browsers create a shortcut that opens a browser tab. Keep using the browser if installation is unavailable.
Desktop
In Chrome or Edge, look for Install in the address bar or the browser’s app menu. On supported Macs, Safari offers File → Add to Dock. If your browser has no app option, bookmark the learning app and use it in a tab.
Keep your record before switching
Export an existing participation record before changing browsers or opening a home-screen app. Sign-in and local records may be separate in an installed window. Nothing is copied or synchronized automatically; keep the original browser available if its history is missing in the app window.
Stay connected
This test app needs internet when opened. No owner sign-in is needed on this public domain. It does not download lessons for offline use. Reopen it online between sessions to get the current test version; an open activity is not forced to reload. Desktop Chrome installation, reopening and chosen Picnic voice playback have been tried in this preview. iPad and Android installation, remaining icon/sign-in checks and physical classroom-device review are still ahead. Chulu draft recordings are available now; audio release approval and released-content offline packs remain construction work.
